18:31. ஆதலால் இரதங்களின் தலைவர் யோசபாத்தைக் காண்கையில், இவன் தான் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா என்று சொல்லி யுத்தம்பண்ண அவனைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது யோசபாத் கூக்குரல் இட்டான்; கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு அநுசாரியாயிருந்தார்; அவர்கள் அவனை விட்டு விலகும்படி தேவன் செய்தார்.

18:31. இரதப் படைத் தளபதிகள் யோசபாத்தைக் கண்டதும் "இஸ்ரவேலின் அரசனான ஆகாப் அங்கே இருக்கிறான்!" என்று எண்ணினார்கள். எனவே யோசபாத்தைத் தாக்க அவர்கள் திரும்பினார்கள். ஆனால் யோசபாத் சத்தமிட்டு வேண்டினபடியால் கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு உதவினார். தேவன் இதரப்படைத் தளபதிகளை யோசபாத்தை விட்டு விலகும்படி செய்தார்.

18:31. When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they said, "He must be the king of Israel!" So they turned and attacked him, but Jehoshaphat cried out. The LORD helped him; God lured them away from him.

18:31. So when the Aramean chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat in his royal robes, they went after him. "There is the king of Israel!" they shouted. But Jehoshaphat called out, and the LORD saved him. God helped him by turning the attackers away from him.

18:31. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they turned about to fight against him: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and Jehovah helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.

18:31. As soon as the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, "It is the king of Israel." So they turned to fight against him. And Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; God drew them away from him.

18:31. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It [is] the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them [to depart] from him.

18:31. And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, "It is the king of Israel." So they turned to fight against him; and Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him. God drew them away from him,

18:31. And it cometh to pass at the heads of the charioteers seeing Jehoshaphat, that they have said, `The king of Israel he is,` and they turn round against him to fight, and Jehoshaphat crieth out, and Jehovah hath helped him, and God enticeth them from him,

18:31. During the battle, the commanders saw King Jehoshaphat and thought he was the king of Israel. So they went to kill him. Jehoshaphat started shouting, and the Lord helped him. God made the chariot commanders turn away from Jehoshaphat.

18:31. It happened, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they turned about to fight against him: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and Yahweh helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.

H3478 Therefore they compassed H5437 about H5921 him to fight: H3898 but Jehoshaphat H3092 cried out, H2199 and the LORD H3068 helped H5826 him ; and God H430 moved H5496 them [to] [depart] from H4480 him.
